Chemistry Technician
Responsibilities:
Perform chemistry processing.
Aid in performing chemical experiments following established protocols and safety guidelines.
Review scientific literature and participate in research projects and report on their progress.
Analyze experimental data using various analytical techniques and software tools; interpret results and draw conclusions.
Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records, including experimental procedures, results, and observations.
Work closely with other chemists to achieve research objectives; participate in team meetings and discussions.
Coordinate the scheduling of sample submissions, testing, and result delivery with external labs. Analyze and interpret test results received from labs, ensuring accuracy and consistency with expected outcomes.
Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of laboratory equipment and instruments; manage inventory of chemicals and supplies.
When needed, help support setting up new laboratory equipment.
Adhere to all safety protocols, regulatory requirements, participate in safety training and audits.
Aid in production duties if needed

Qualifications:
Degree or Diploma in Chemistry
Previous experience working in a laboratory setting
Previous experience working with lab equipment and able to safely handle chemicals
Teamwork: ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently.
Working Hours: We operate on 8hrs pr day rotational shift schedule options (Monday-Friday/Tuesday-Saturday/Wednesday-Sunday/Thursday-Sunday) with a $2/hour pay bump for working a weekend shift.
